I hired Don for a surprise 50th birthday party for my wife. We had both friends and family for a house party of 40-50 people. Don was terrific in several ways. He was very professional in setting up our arrangements. He was very timely and accommodating in his arrival time making sure he was completely set up and ready to go for what was a surprise party. In addition he was very fair and flexible to accommodate us when we asked him to play beyond the time we originally expected to end (as a side note - we asked him to play longer than we originally booked him for because his music was well played, well received, and added a lot to the atmosphere of the party). Don played both as the main entertainment for a period during the evening, and also in the back ground for much of the night. He played both roles well. The best testimony I could give him is that we would hire him again without reservation.

We can’t say enough about how happy we were with Don at our wedding! We booked him based on the reviews on Gigmasters and the music on his site, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. He was the consummate professional from start to finish.
Don was always prompt with answers to our questions, while providing fresh ideas and great communication in general leading up to our big day. When the day arrived, Don was there early, even though it was a 2-hour drive for him. We did all of our own planning, and while we were running around taking care of last-minute preparations and worrying whether everything was ready, Don was a calming friend. He was set-up in two locations and dressed in his suit even before the groom was dressed! Put simply, Don removed the stress from the music portion of our day and while other aspects of the afternoon needed our attention, he required no assistance whatsoever.
In addition to his professionalism, Don is also a great musician. He played our ceremony and the cocktail hour, and our guests are still telling us how much they enjoyed the music. It was absolutely perfect.
Last but not least, Don is a really nice guy. Even though we met for the first time just a few hours before our wedding, Don seemed to genuinely care about us. Rather than just show up to play music, he took a sincere interest in our day. When dinner was over and he was getting ready to head home, we felt like we were saying goodbye to one of our guests and were sad that he had to leave!
Bottom line -- Don is a complete professional, fantastic musician, and kind person who was an integral part of making our day so special. We enthusiastically and without hesitation recommend him to anyone considering his services.

We were very fortunate to find Don for our wedding ceremony. We had exactly 2 weeks to throw everything together and thought we would have to compromise on a quality musician to accommodate our request. Not true!
